The former mail interchange centre of the PTT (Dutch postal service) in The Hague, originally a design of Rob Ligtvoet, has been converted into an outdoor & nature centre. The centre will feature a combination of functions. Leisure, outdoor retail, childcare, catering services, fitness training, and conference facilities will be integrated into this distinctive industrial complex. Functions are arranged as landscapes around the atrium, the heart of the building. Voids and the atrium define spatial visual proportions and variations in level.
